I believe I can fly digital

Trying out the CaddX Vista in this great little frame. Its hard to find now.
The video here is the DJI goggle DVR recording. There is no onboard recording with the vista but its reduced size means you can package it on even a frame this small. The quality of the FPV video is just as good as the larger module.
Goggle preferences here are focus mode on and low latency mode on. Very little latency with a little sacrifice in quality on the sides. Focus mode set to auto, so sides become more blurry when the signal is weaker. More noticeable here when im all the way on the other side of the park low and with trees in the way. Still, i could not fly with this level of confidence in my video if i were flying analog. Just incredible detail and a joy to fly and take in the view. This was before the 50mgps update.
Using stock 25mm standoffs that came with the frame.
Battery preference here is 450mah 4S for 4.5min leasure flight. [

3S 550 is also good.

Nice build! What is the length of the standoffs? Can you post a close-up on the stack?

using m2. two are nylon and two are steel(25mm). i have four nuts holding the cf, the two steel ones are the ones that hold the vista. they dont need to go all the way thru if you use something to fill the gap from vista to top plate. i used two small pieces of battery mount rubber. so my vista is not hard mounted as you can move about .5mm side to side if you apply force. this is okay since the fc is also soft mounted. on the up and down, it moves even less but i know stack is cushioned with rubber on top and soft mounts from cf at bottom. so toight and dampened:)

Thanks alot for the info :) Gonna try squeeze it in to my ix3 frame.

under the esc i have a plastic washer and a rubber washer.
so plenty of dampening thru out the stack up.

And how did you squeeze in the standard camera? :) I want to convert my ix3 to digital but not much space...

ix2 frame. camera barely fits frame was not made for this but you can place it in there. no screws just friction fit and i have tiny pieces of 3m mounting tape on either side so i can angle it and stays put

Thanks yeah Vista fit perfect ive got two metal screws going thru entire stack and vista and some short plastic ones going just thru the stack. the top of the vista is held by the top plate and tiny bit of mounting tape used as a spacer.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
