This is my 10" long range build, based on the Assassin 10" frame by Tyrdle. Main inspiration behind it was the dirt cheap AeroSky motors on eBay ($38 for 5).
It's extremely efficient and can hit 18ish minutes of hovering or slow waypoint flying on a 6s 1100 battery. A 4s 21700 4200mAh pack can get me around 35-40 minutes of forward decently fast flying. AUW with 1x 6s 1100mAh CNHL Black battery is around 870g, I may end up adding a second (+200g) depending on how this battery holds up to the amp draw of freestyling. Videos to come when my new VTX comes in (old rush tank original randomly died in-air).
Still working on tuning this build, it's running ArduPilot, but after adjusting flight controller placement AutoTune seems to function way better. I also need to get an Immortal T for the crossfire rx.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Hi, are those motors holding on 6S voltage??
Seem to be fine so far, don't get hot or anything.. Air gap is pretty minimal and construction feels good. I haven't pushed it really hard though I'll let you know if something happens to the motors. They're so cheap though I'm not gonna be upset if one dies.
any updates??
Motors themselves hold up fine but the bearings are shot I think, apparently they were budget motors when they were made so they skimped on the bearings.. I ordered some 9x4x4 and 10x4x4 from iFlight and they're still on the way over from China.
