Long story short, this quad burned to a crisp upon first plugged in with the Betafpv 12a AIO board. The motor pads on are WAY to close together and i believe i had one bridged. I replaced the board to the nameless rc one which i have been happy with so far. I flashed 4.1 BF with jesc esc firmware and rpm filtering. Im still working on the tune.

Currently 60g plus rdq 525mah 3s makes 102g AUW. That is with a 3mm frame (2.9g more than 2mm frame), the heavy nameless d400 dvr vtx, and 3016 triblades. It would be possible to shave 10 or more grams off, but these are the features I wanted to try on this build. It is an absolute rocket and has almost all the agility of my 1s 1202.5 38g build. I am getting over 5 minutes of hard flying on a pack.

how are you liking those motors? I'm running a similar build. 20a geprc FC and Goku vtx. using 1106 6000kv motors I'm getting a similar flight time on a 650mah 3s. very tempted to buy some 4s batteries for more top end.

I love them. They feel super smooth when spun. i have run the emax 1106 6000s and 7500s. They are good , but these feel more in control , while the 1106s have more top speed? Maybe? I will probably throw together an 1106 build since i have a few sets in my parts drawer.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
