So I do have to ask, what is going on here with the 3D prints? At first I thought it was terrible under-extrusion, but on second thoughts... is this fuzzy effect intentional? Some weight-to-strength thing? Either way, it certainly has a homespun, knitted quality that gives a cozy charm...
lol, yes it was intentional, and no it's not for strength or anything. I just wanted something different and that's what I ended up with.
How did you intentionally do this? It is very interesting. I love 3D printing and would love to know how you did it.
Thanks in advance.
it's a setting in Cura, you have to enable it for it to be available. just search for it and turn it on. there are some settings you can play with to get different effects.
Well, what do you know. Yes, in the Experimental section, at the bottom of Print Settings in Cura, there is a checkbox for Fuzzy Skin. And the preview even shows what chaos this selection brings. Very interesting!
yep, enjoy!!
