So here is my DemonRC Dojo.
I bought the frame with a DJI camera mount but i wanted to have more protection anyway so i designed my own, adding some TPU to prevent carbon fiber delamination.
AUW at 276g is not bad but i hoped for under 250g. Maybe with a 650mAh lipo that would be possible.
Anyway build was fun, frame has a lot of space so it's quite esy to fit everything. I also designed myself a VTX antenna holder and some PLA prints to hold Crossfire in place.
Maiden was with a 1500mAh 4s 180g lipo and did really well. Motors were cool despite the weight. Now with about 80g less and propper 850mAh pack it should be better.
I was hoping th stick a self powered buzzer but i didnt find any decent place for it. I modified my camera mount to adjust it for 25mm standoffs and i'll order some londer ones. With extra 3mm over the stack there should be a fine place for a 3g buzzer and a second lipo strap without even being close to FC/ESC/VTX stack (those extra 3mm will probably not destroy fight characteristics by moving GC a bit up). Overall fun stuff.
What might be called 'maiden' of this quad (with a 850mAh 4s pack):
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
