Naked GoPro build, using Umma85 clean plate and dampeners. 4S capable using spare BetaFPV 85X parts and V3 of their AIO board. This time using Caddx Vista and Nebula camera combo.
The Nebula seems perfect for this type of weight conscious build but after some test flights and noticing the lower quality image and zoomed in look i think ill take the extra 5-6 gram difference and use the full size DJI camera. Performs well on steady proximity flights and tight spaces. Climbs well too. no acro of any kind with this though. its purely steady as she goes and captures nice steady footage as it should.
Used RDO printing service. Very nice parts at a good price and fast. link to STL files shown in pics are under the build parts list. You will need to drill out a few holes for the tiny wood screws.
update: Build is performing well, 3S works well indoors. testing other props.
DJI camera is worth its weight.
now using more Aluminum hardware to save 3g
Installed ribbon cable for voice control.

Until recently GoPros were delegated to larger quads. A typical GoPro weighs around 125g and we've only recently begun to mount them on 3" cinewhoops. Even that is a stress on the motors. Now we've got the "GoPro Lite". Remove the battery, displays and casing and you're left with a small, lightweight board and sensor. Wrap it in protective TPU casing and you've got a 30g micro GoPro. The Hero6 is..

This guide will walk you through the process of building your first FPV quad. The goal with this design was to build a low-cost, lightweight quad, yet powerful enough to safely carry a GoPro in close proximity areas. I chose these parts to minimize the amount of soldering at no cost to the quality. A typical build requires around 30 solders while this only needs 25. It's not a huge difference, but..
