Toothpick 3" Build:
7/10 difficulty
AUW: 103.3g
8 min flight if you don't push it to hard
Builder's Notes:
Putting in the last arm was hard to do. You really have to jam it in there and then screw the top plate down tight to hold it all together.
Plan your layout BEFORE you cut your wires
I used little strips of electrical tape (cut lengthwise) to secure the motor wires and the crossfire antenna under the arm.
Also, when I first wired everything up, I used the dedicated 5v, GND, and Video pads on the AIO board. But when everything was finished and I plugged it in I was getting a lot of video noise, flickers, rolling OSD frames, and an overall un-flyable video. I narrowed the issue down to the crossfire nano rx and the camera. When the camera wires were close to the nano, the video was terrible. When they were far apart, it was fine. Unfortunately, the only good place to mount the nano is directly under the camera so this was a bit of a problem. I rewired the camera, this time using the 5v, GND, and Video that comes out of the VTX harness instead of the AIO. This made a major improvement. The video is still not as perfect as it was when the two units were spread far apart but the problems mentioned earlier are hardly noticed at all. (The pictures below show my final working wiring)

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

I'm doing a very similar build once all my parts come in - hoping to get it a hair under 100g as I am using biblade props and an R-XSR receiver.
With biblades you should be good. Good luck!
