I have planned and researched these parts for months, slowly narrowing down the exact build I wanted. This is supposed to be extremely reliable, and handle everything I would throw at it. This build slowly changed over time, with the introduction of new parts becoming available such as the ImmersionRC Ghost system. The T-Motor FT5 seems to be a great frame, especially at the price point of $49.99. With the innovative integration of the removable center plate, it looks to be a killer deal and a great freestyle/cinematic rig. I have always wanted my dream cinema/freestyle rig. To carry a GoPro, have lots of features, and exactly how I wanted it. This is the perfect quad for me, as it is super smooth and is bulletproof using the best electronics out there. This is one hell of a machine.

Frame
I chose the FT5 due to the fact of its wide array of customizability, T-Motors usual quality standards, and the innovative features that it includes. The thing that separates this frame from other "Bus" style frames is the specialized top plate(s). It is divided into three parts, which allows you to access the stack by only removing two screws. The frame also supports 19mm, 20mm, and 22mm cameras, with it supporting 20x20 and 30.5x30.5 stacks. I went with a 30.5x30.5 stack to maximize durability and security.
Motors
I have been dying to try these motors, as I have only heard good things about them. NewBeeDrones Flow series of motors are the best quality out there, at a great price especially if you get their "Crazy Deal" where you get 8 motors for $99.99 ($12.50 each).
Props
I went with the Azure JohnnyFPV props due to their immense smoothness. While they may not be as efficient as other propellers, their 4.8" diameter encourages incredible control and silky feel. Though you may want to swap them out for HQ Ethix S5 props for that extra punch and extra ~2 minutes of flight time.
FC/ESC
The Hobbywing G3 stack is granted to be one of the most reliable and bulletproof stacks currently on the market. While the G3 FC is still only an F4 (STM32F405) processor, with Betaflights newest capability standards F4 should still be enough for me. However, I am still eyeing the FlightOne Lightning H7 flight controller which would make this build even more smooth, and plug and play with a different pinout for the ESC. FLightOne is still struggling to keep up with the demand of the H7, so I decided I can upgrade later if I so desire. The Xrotor 60a ESC is going to be more than sufficient, even when carrying a payload and the higher KV motors on 6S. The mosfets are HUGE, and the power wires came pre-soldered with a large capacitor, extremely finished for the price.
Camera
Of course, the Foxeer Predator V5 is the best-of-the-best camera out there at the moment and has a plentiful amount of features and image quality to crown it as such. The picture is gorgeous and paired with the Rush VTX, the image looks digital!
VTX
Speaking of the video transmitter, the Rush Ultimate FPV Tank Plus goes all the way up to 800mw, and has top of the line features like TBS SmartAudio, built-in AGC mic, and power filtering. I have always had wonderful experiences with Rush, and their products are top-notch. The VTX table for Betaflight can be found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dw1hREQnp089PJFVodHVfZEPQQX_WCI6/view?usp=sharing
Receiver
The ImmersionRC Ghost system has been released and while I am still awaiting the arrival of the Ghost Nano TX form, I have high hopes and I believe my patience will be worth it. I contemplating settling for the TeamBlackSheep CrossFire system but I neglected to purchase it because I race often, and have heard that it is not the best option due to few issues here and there when multiple pilots are in the air.
HD Camera
The GoPro Hero 6 Black is an incredible action camera, and while it may be a few years old, it is preferable with post-processing software such as ReelSteady, which is ideal with a cinematic quad. The nice thing is if I ever wanted to upgrade to a Hero 7, I could still use the same mount. The other fantastic thing about the GoPro Hero 5/6/7 is the swappable lenses and grants the ability to use Neutral Density (ND) filters. These filters reduce the amount of light that enters the sensor, and you can lower your shutter speed to have more motion blur thus creating a more cinema-style look. My camera settings with the GoPro Hero 6 Black and respectable ND filter include:
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
