After trying OG toothpick, I've realised that I much prefer how top mounted Tadpole handles. Armattan did a great job with this frame. Kudos to them.

Since I already own a 16x16 Tadpole, I thought it'd be nice to try whoop stack build. I stole the idea for a bracket from DartFrog - HD Tadpole (such an awesome build!) and gave it a go. Didn't like the result. Don't get me wrong - it flew perfectly fine and weighed more or less the same. I do prefer the looks of 16x16 however - adapter is an afterthought. 😉

For this one I wanted to mount the RX and VTX as cleanly and designed an angled mount, which ended up working quite well. I was also considering adding something to hold the blackbox wire, but it tucks in quite nicely under the camera. All in all I'm pretty happy with how this one ended up.

FWIW, I have a similar build with Xing 1105 6000kv motors and they have a bit more low end throttle response. Having said that, these T-Motors are nuts 🔥.
