AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

How are you liking the Zeus F7 FC?
I like it very much. It's a well thought out Flight Controller. The pads are sized just right to keep things relatively easy. So far after a couple of flights, it's performing smoothly. no bad habiyts. This flight controller got me interested in the 20x20 version for another build that I am planning. I had sent HGLRC support a question regarding it. They had gotten back to me with answers, and options very quickly. After this experience, it's looking like my next build will have HGLRC components for sure. It's a solid flight controller, and HGLRC seem like a solid company. Thumbs up.
thanks for your quick response! that sounds like a good piece of kit indeed. I might look into the 20x20 option in the future also. I'll follow your builds to see what you come up with:)
I actually won a hglrc zeus vtx and this got me looking at their website. seems like a promising rising star :)
Congratulations! Nice score!
indeed seems like it (have not tested yet, but that form factor is really interesting)
I'm interested to learn your results with the Zeus vtx. I put in an order for the Forward MT Mini 20x20 vtx.
i'll be installing it in a new build coming weeks (when all parts are in) , will let you know!
