Sanchez_Air_Experimental Cinewoop

Having a spare sanchez air frame I figure out to build myself a cinewoop in pusher configuration with the available parts I had.
To be quick for testing I started with the ducts in it is simple form printed in PLA with the fronts making the support itself on the camera with integrated screws.
Carbon frame provide the stiffness to beta 1204 motors equiped with avantrush 2.5" inch in pusher configuration.
I allocate the FC and vista just below the frame to keep it protected around the ducts.
Equilibrium from the front ducts, hanging the drone down, shows that the battery is better allocated below to keep the cg in the propellers plane. I tested with battery on top (rubber bands on the photos) and down and it is better down in this case.
So, with the camera attached as is I get some jello on high speed turns where the low stiffness of the PLA contributes to it. In normal steady fly it is ok as it is intended for it I keep as valid. I used 2s and 3s. Both flying with enough power to keep flying... power short on 2s but ok. Current consumption is about double than FlexRC 3" with zeus FC and 3"...almost 200mah per minute or quickly more if demanded....I guess that: 1.- the properlers are not intended for this usage. 2.- It is underpowered on 2S....3.- Ducting the blades the gap is critical and I do not have a good control on the duct holes so I ended up triming some areas so it is not symmetrical condition on the duct flow.
I need to try on 4S and change propellers...any help would be appreciated.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
