where did yiu get yiur 3D print files? been trying to find an STL for skids and gopro mount before i soend time deaigning my own. Thanks!
Dude this post got me HYPE!!!!
This looks like such an exciting build/setup. It's super clean in these shots, (though I assume it's at least a lil dirty by now) lookin guuuuud!!!
How does she fly? Bit of a chonker, but I imagine 6s makes it look easy. Or am I wrong, she looks like a heavy frame?
On a separate note: I hope whatever is going on with your left hand gets better soon :)
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Love your build...
I'm looking at building a DJI HD using the Digital System, the exact same NewbeeDrone FC and a TBS Crossfire Nano receiver. How did you connect both the DJI Digital Unit and the TBS receiver and what is your setup in BetaFligh?
Thanks,
Sam
Air unit uses the plug on the FC, CRSF via a UART. I use Emuflight.
Thank you for getting back to me. Which UART (TX/RX) did you use for connecting the CRSF?
Also, would you be so kind as to send me a few screenshots of the settings that you use if you're using CRSF and when you use DJI Controller?
I might be able to help. I have a CLRacing F4 FC with Air Unit.
For betaflight, you need to open up the UART for the crossfire rx/tx pads on the FC, and then set your receiver type to Serial / CRSF. There's nothing to set for DJI within betaflight. In your goggle feed, open Settings -> Display -> Custom OSD on.
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
My issue is as follow:
I have a HAKRC F4126 MPU6000 F411 Flight Controller BLHELI_ S 20A ESC AIO. It has UART1 and UART2 and an SBUS pad. I've wired the Vista to UART2 with the SBUS to the SBUS pad and my Crossfire to the USRT1 pads.
if I want yo use bot the DJI Controller and my goggles, iin the Ports Tab f i set the Configuration/MSP to UART2 i have the OSD on my goggles, but my controller does not work. Now if I set the Serial Rx to UART2 my controller works but not my OSD
Not sure how i can have both, the OSD and the DJI FPV Controller working at the same time or is this a limitation of the an F4 FC?
thanks
I took a look at a listing for that FC, but yeah, I can only see UARTS 1 and 2 in that case. Unfortunately I can't find any links to an instruction sheet that may help clue me in.
The people over at the intofpv forums really helped me out a lot. I would recommend asking the question there. Those folks are far more knowledgeable than I am. I had a couple of hiccups with a build with a vista, and they got me squared away.
That reminds me. One of the things I learned was that you want to set the CRSF Uart to SERIAL, and the air unit / vista UART to MSP.
Hi,
I did find more info as a result of several inquiries on different forums!
You're absolutely correct that the main issue is that this FC only has two UARTs. I found out that the root of the problem is that UART2 is electrically connected to the SBUS pad and even if i switched the crossfire to UART2 and the DJI OSD to UART1 and left the SBUS of the Caddx Vista connected to the SBUS of the FC it would not work.
I just had to come to the realization that there's no way that this FC can support both options because of the lack of UARTs. I was hoping that the SBUS pad was independent of UART2
Thank you very, very much for helping out, it is sincerely appreciated
That's a bummer, but I'm happy you were able to get an answer! Good luck moving forward!
