My next ultralight 1S toothpick, with 2.5 inch propellers. The lightest I have ever made. Built on the basis of the Mobula 6 woop, on a lightweight, 4 gram frame from BetaFPV. Happymodel 0802 19000 kV motors. I fly on 1S, 260-450 mAh batteries.
I managed to reduce its weight to 23,4 g. Fast, agile and incredibly responsive and very quiet. Nice park flyer ;)

How did you get the M2 screws to go into the mobula canopy? The mobula canopy holes seem like perhaps M1.6 and nylon screws can't seem to be forced in. Can you explain how you proceeded please

I did exactly what you did. I took a screwdriver and made larger holes, to the size of the M2 screw :) Happy fly!

I have a similar build which has a dry weight of 27g, built from a happymodel snapper 7 but with 0803 19000kv motors
is 0803 good for something like that? Thrust to weight ratio is about 3:1

Awesome! Basically a mobula6 on an HX100 SE frame with 65mm props. I've thought about doing this with my mobula6 but I don't think the motor wires will be long enough. Did you have to extend the motor wires?

I did not extend the engine wires. These are 0802 motors with 60mm cables, purchased separately, link to the store below the description.
As for the conversion of the Mobula 6 to a frame and 65 mm propellers, it is worth doing. Speed, maneuverability and, above all, flight time increase.

pl: fajny.  możesz śruby metalowe zastąpić nylonowymi i skrócić.

eng:nice, you can replace metal bolts with nylon and shorten them.

Good point. I put these 25 mm long metal screws in because I had them at hand. Ultimately, they will be 20 mm long nylon, which should also reduce the weight of the drone by about 1 gram.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
