This was my first build. Originally, I was going to go with JB's Xilo kit but decided to switch it up. I wanted to use the DJI system along with trying out an Archer RX, since not many use/have used Archer. I like to go against the grain.
whats the benefit of the archer receiver? great build man, the apex frames are very durable!
No real huge benefit of the Archer. Both the Archer and R-XSR are the same weight and fairly easy to use. I had a R-XSR and couldn't get it to properly work for some reason. I picked up the Archer because it was specifically designed for ACCESS protocol which was what my radio uses. Also it supports Over the Air (OTA) and configurable telemetry power. Plus, no goofy plug to worry about, direct solder for a better connection.
