I'm thinking of a similar build with the FETTec stack and the same motors but on 6S. Think I'll have any problems with the 2680kv version of the motors spinning the same props? They equate to a slightly lower RPM so I should be fine right?
These motors have a lot of power, you will appreciate them:)
On 4s I have 4 x 4.20V = 16.8V x 4200kv = 70560rpm.
On 6s, you will have 6 x 4.20 = 25.2V x 2680kv = 67536rpm.
You should be fine with the 6s kv setting as it is almost equal to 4s 4200kv.
Just consider a 6s battery will have more weight than a 4s.
I also tried the Gemfan 4052 on this setup. The quad handled sharp as a knife paired with ridiculous power.
Sweet thanks for the reply. I've never done a KISS build, the FETTec FC doesn't have an OSD right? Are you not using one? Or is it handled by DJI?
The OSD for Dji came with the new FETTec fc firmware. You can set UART 1 for Dji MSP.
But with analog, I am not really sure about the OSD. Are you planning to go for Dji or analog?
Analog for now. Hopefully going digital soon (waiting for holiday sales).
