Inspired by TorqueFPV's Hornet HD frame, this uses the case camera mount but shrunk to around 85% size for a nano camera and attached to a tiny 2" frame.

Flies well on 3S 300Mah and I got a couple of GeeLang 4S 260Mah which turn it into a crazy little beast. I had a set of HappyModel EX1203 5500KV motors which were very boring on 3", only good for slow cruising but they come alive on 2" although they make horrible noises like shaking a bag of bolts; probably due to terrible bearings.

Remember to scale the Hornet HD canopy to 80-85%. I printed in sainsmart TPU with no supports. The ratel fitted well but the standoffs (M2 20mm) were difficult to insert. Perseverance paid off and the end result looks pretty good I think!

Rear standoff is plastic with the XT30 holder on it. The rear plastic standoff is shorter as it attached on top of the FC, on the corner that the VTX does not cover. The XT30 holder has enough space to fit the crazybee XT30-with-capacitor plug below it.

Antennas are fastened with a short plastic straw for the RX and zip ties around the rear pillar with XT30 mount. Reception is adequate considering this is only an XM and not XM+.

It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
