My third Y6 build using my Everycopter hub plates, this time using roll-wrapped carbon fibre rods instead of hardwood dowels. I bought the rods direct from the manufacuter in China & used a circular mitre saw with a continous edge diamond blade to cut them.

Motors/ESCs came from one of my previous Y6 builds, while the Pixhawk Cube Orange flight controller & Here2 GPS came from my Hexsoon EDU450 quad build.

It certainly looks a lot slicker than its wooden predecessors!

It's sold in various places as the 'Original Airbot 200A PDB'. Judging from the weight of the thing that 200A rating is most definitely just a burst rating, but it's a higher burst rating than any of the 6 output Matek PDBs... for all that's worth!

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
