Everycopter Y6 (full carbon)

My third Y6 build using my Everycopter hub plates, this time using roll-wrapped carbon fibre rods instead of hardwood dowels. I bought the rods direct from the manufacuter in China & used a circular mitre saw with a continous edge diamond blade to cut them.

Motors/ESCs came from one of my previous Y6 builds, while the Pixhawk Cube Orange flight controller & Here2 GPS came from my Hexsoon EDU450 quad build.

It certainly looks a lot slicker than its wooden predecessors!

It's sold in various places as the 'Original Airbot 200A PDB'. Judging from the weight of the thing that 200A rating is most definitely just a burst rating, but it's a higher burst rating than any of the 6 output Matek PDBs... for all that's worth!
