Next 2S Li-Ion thing. Really wish I could get these motors in a higher Kv. I think the size is just right. When I accidentally put the camera mounts on backwards I realized I could make my own kinda sorta Runcam Hybrid 2. Phoenix Micro would have been better, but this is pretty cool. I'm using the vifly cam switcher so I can mess with split OSD plus it's neat to switch between cameras during night flights. There's a massive difference between the Split FPV feed and the Phoenix Nano in low light. I need to shied the GPS a bit though. This mounting location worked great on the Romadix, but I didn't consider the HD cam noise getting to it. The frame kit came with a nice GPS & T Mount print, but it was a bit chonky for my taste. This is the VTX setup I like for 2S Li-Ion. OG Unify + BEC. I was able to use a 20x20 stack cover plate as a nice VTX cover and U.FL lock, sandwiched on the back 20x20 mounts. Two layers of shrink made the singularity fit through the antenna/rx holder nicely, and the crossfire nano tucks in as well. Wire dipole on a ziptie for vertical polarized RC this time. The FC and Split came along from the Chimera thing. It flies great on 2 and 3S, but I still need higher Kv to get everything out of a 2S LiIon. Also not sure how the FC & ESCs like running down as low as 5.4V, but I'll find out soon enough. :)

I'm super curious to know how you got the vifly to work with crossfire.I havent been able to find any guides or suggestions for that.

Hi My friend! About vifly switchcam, how did you connect together FC and crossfire nano? Which pad did you connect to? And bf configuration? tks!

Cool Build, I'm working on a li-ion 4 in build now. Had a custom dave_c lr build but building up a armattan Bobcat now. Debating on motor KV to get best efficiency. Looking at the FPV cycle 2203 motors in either 2800kv for a 3-4s build or the 3450Kv for 2-4s capabilities, cant decide which as I'll be running 3s most of the time and think 2800 will give better efficiency but completely rule out a 2s option.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
