Well, someone did order a frame and someone delivered a frame: 1) me, 2) Banggood
Now I had to order motors and a flight controller, I think this isn't going to end well.
Motors from a German forum, flight controller from a "online yard sale" (eBay Kleinanzeigen), receivers are laying around like...switching to ghost brought some receivers back to storage.
Update I:
So this red frame is fine and I like it, but I gave it to my friend. BECAUSE I've got my green frame!
Update II:
Motors from the guy in the forum aren't what I need, so I've ordered and received new motors - also green color (Arthur 1204 5200kV). The wires are good quality and kind of thick, but your can manage to get them through the little holes in the ducts. I've chosen to not trim the wires, but this will be done later. Later, when there's an affordable F405 or F7 AIO board.
Update III:
As the pnf versions have an led stripe, I've also put one on mine. Sadly, the original betaflight diff doesn't have any useful colors assigned.
Neither is there any pid tuning done.
Update IV:
This is quite a mess to build, and there's isn't much space for the parts. The vtx is installed under the AIO board, the receiver is stuck in the back between the ducts.
Did I mention, that the original antenna from the betafpv vtx was badly attached so I had to build a new one from scratch. If I have done everything right, it's perfectly tuned to B1/R3.
Update V:
So anything is set up and working, now I need to tune this guy. But I've never ever tuned a quad and I hope that 'uavtech' could help tuning any Cinewhoop.
Oh and than this: the USB port isn't that accessible as I thought, so I had to modify an older micro USB cable.
Update VI:
No caddx turtle! Just the insta360 go on top.
Update VII:
So guys, I've changed a few things:
Update VIII:
Update IX (new 3D printed parts):
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
