A brace. Not a pair. I got the RTF first as my first big quad after my experience with the splendid Syma X5C-1 which got me hooked.I went with the Quanum from Hobbyking because they were cheap and delivered fast. They are getting cheaper.I'll be adding descriptions and whyfors later.
A lot of the bits are off ebay ( and prices ain't posted for them I notice) and I go for local suppliers if I can to get them fast.I'm not averse to buying from China though and can wait when I need to.Lots of little fiddly bits in there like motor bearings and body screws are essential replacments.Others, like the Gemfans, are just personal preference.Ooh.This is getting to be a long list.

The one on the left was the latest paint jobby with blended edges rather than tightly masked.I prefer it to tell the truth.

Now the rain has set in I may get a bit of time to update stuff here.

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
