Long Range, cinematic, and freestyle Pirx Seven Frame. Standard build comes with 7" arms which I have flown for a year. Wanted to have the option of running 8" props to see if endurance could be improved therefore I bought the larger arms. Very well designed and thought out frame from Pawel Spychalski. On the 7" props it flys very well, still waiting to fly on the 8" props but expect it to preform well. Flight times with the 5200mah 4s can reach 18-20 minutes cruising around at 40mph with the 7" props, battery fits ontop with fpv camera up top as well. Running INAV 2.6 on the flight controller.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Hello, did You ever get to compare 7 and 8 inch propellers? Was the 8" worth it compared to 7"?
Thanks :)
For sure more thrust and felt more responsive but I was also adjusting the tune. I like the hq 8x4x3 props since they are the same profile as the hq 7x4x3 just bigger as opposed to the Macro hq 8x4.5x3 props which seem too heavy and amp hungry for my motors. I did crash it and finally got around to replacing the receiver since antenna ripped out when it crashed and damaged the board. Will do some proper testing this upcoming weekend for flight time.
Thanks man, great info!
Just to be clear, you liked the Hq slowflyer biblades, not the macro one?
Yes, slowfyer bi blads better than the HQ macro 8x4.5x3 but the HQ macro 8x4x3 that are the 4.0 pitch (https://pyrodrone.com/products/hq-macroquad-prop-8x4x3ccw-black-glass-fiber-nylon) are the best from initial testing.
Thanks! I just ordered some Master Airscrew 8" biblades. Curious to try those out! Have you tried any Master Airscrew props? They are much lighter than the HQ props..

I have not tried any Master Airscrew yet but will probably try them in the near future. Let me know how they do for you. What is your 8" set up?
Sure I will let you know! I think its gonna take at least a month though..
Its my own custom frame with those 30 mm motors, 65A tekko32 ESC and 6s 3300 gnb. Auw is now less than 1,1kg without gopro.
I will have to get some 8 inch arms and it takes roughly a month from I order to I get them. Just finished updating the design today.
When I decide if I go with 7 or 8 inch then I will post the build here as well as the frame will be available for anyone who wants one. I will most likely let People choose between 8 and 7 inch arms in deadcat or wide x configuration. Obviously 7" will be more durable in that case.
With 30 mm motors i mean fpv cycle 30mm motor on 1450 kv:)
