My first build ever was a box frame. And I trashed it before I'm half competent at flying.

With old motors, old esc, old vista, old receiver, and a replacement of a DOA flight controller from the past year. Here I am revisiting the box frame, this time in digital. What's really cool about this pyrodrone iteration is the versatile mounting options. I can easily use a 30x30 esc and a 20x20 fc without an adapter. The carbon cuts tolerance is on point, not like the TBS Source V which requires filing on many joints. The stock 20mm standoffs are a little too short for a fc on top of a vista unit, so I used some 25mm standoffs here.

I found the squirt gopro mount works on this frame after filing one of the tpu screw holes slightly larger, I could drop a hero 7 on it someday when my freetyle rigs are under maintenance.

And it is heavy.

It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
