Since I started buiding drones I have been living in dense cities and never had the luxury to fly on wide open fields. So all I fly are 2-2.5in kwads. I enjoy the challenge of small parts and the soldering, even when I ruined a lot of parts by being bad at soldering.
Saw this frame from Avantquads on Nick Burns Youtube channel and fell in love. I already had quite a drawer full of 16mm electronics and was looking for a more rugged frame than my Bytesize's before. I don't like the shape of the whoop style AIO boards. They have their place, in whoops. Leave'em there! I also don't want to throw out 80$ because I blew a single ESC.

Anyway, Flywoo released some insane 16mm electronics in the last 4mo which I-had-to-buy!

My plan is to build 3 identical kwads to have always something reliable to fly when I get the chance. 1-2 additional frames will be for testing components, like motors or FC's. Have a Talon 16mm F& FC I bought before Flywoo released one with BlackBox. Eh. Also got some Fywoo Robo motors in which ask for abuse.

This is thing is already fast just sitting on my bench!

i love these little 2-2.5 inch builds. even with space to fly i still prefer these. theyre so much easier you know? you can fly it anywher, no one is scared of them, and the electronics are just as good as 5 inch. my go to is very similar to this one except i top mounted my battery and i like that much better. id tive it a try!
