This was very much an impulse buy and build. I've been looking for a 7" Hyperlite Floss and then I got the chance to get this frame and ESC heavily discounted. I had the camera lying around and the fresh motors looked just so so sexy. I picked the 2020 Zeez F7 to save some space and to have the tx & rx neatly mounted.
You see the result :)
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

Your build is beautiful, and super tidy!
Your battery lead connections need to be reflowed. Likely to burn out your esc, the negative connection there is quite smol. The positive side LOOKS better, but also looks like it probably has internal voids.
I like the blue metallic motor bells that you coordinated with your props, stack spacers, and anodized washers. Looks great with the orange bottom plate, and TPU.
Hope you take this in the constructive, and friendly context it was meant. Really mean it when I say it looks great.
Thank you, I'm extremely glad you like my build and the color scheme! A lot of the time went into following the color scheme, especially when compared to my other builds :)
While I agree that the battery joints look pretty bad, I don't think they are actually as bad as they seem. I attribute much of it to the lighting in the photos. Here are some more shots of them. Since I had to take the build apart to inspect if the joints are really as bad as it seemed, I've taken the opportunity to take your advice and just re-flow them (I've updated the ESC close-up photo). Better safe than sorry :)
No worries, I understand that you care a lot about how your comment comes over, already from the fact that you seem to have come back and edited it to include more compliments. Appreciate your input just as much, if not more than your praise!
You know this already, but those look perfect :)
