This one was my first build. It started off trying to be as "value focused" as possible, but some things just didn't end up working out.
It originally had an Omnibus F4 FC, with individual Wraith ESCs, and some cheap-o chinese motors. Obviously, the ESCs didn't fit being mounted to the arms, and one of those motors were DOA (mfg refused to replace the motor). I got frustrated, and anxious to fly, so I bought the XNOVA motors from one local hobby shop, and the Xrotor FC/ESC stack from another shop. I got the Taranis Q X7 off a guy on craigslist.
It ended up being a lot faster than I expected, typically I'll fly with a 75% throttle scale. 100% is far too much power for the area I fly in.
Battery runtime ~15-20 minutes.
