I tried to make this as close to the ideal TP3 as I could the only things that I wasn't quite happy with were both related to the geprcf411I had on hand neither was a deal breaker. The proton pack really cleaned up the stack and facilitated a reduction on wires soldered to the aio making the build easier and possibly reducing routes for vibes to make it onto the gyro.
The major compromise I made was to remove the rear mounting point of the stack to make room for the usb port of the aio but now that it's all together I really don't think that will have much of a detriment to the build. The last downside of this aio is the need to depin the jst connectors if you want a short stack and the subsequent need for swiss watchmakers skills in soldering the motor lines.

I decided to used two extra rubber bands to act as a battery pad since none of my battery pads will stay on my other TP3s but at least it will help hold the motor wires away from danger pulling double duty yay!

I also did minimal conformal coating just to make sure I don't lose video if a drop of water lands on my super exposed stack as that was no fun the first time it happened to me

I'm really looking forward to see how far I can get with this guy given this has the most 5ghz pixies flying out of it of the toothpicks I've built. I expect the Zepto to still outrun my video despite the abismal spacing between the rx and vtx antennas but I'll post a range/test flight footage sometime this weekend likely pushing penetration through objects than los distance since los it seems I don't have the ideal crafts to push distance....yet. Now that inav supports ghost I plan on doing a build around that later

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
