Summer is almost here up north so decided to add another drone build
FPV cycle glide frame lowered on 20mm stand off
Talon Fusion mounted on the front of the frame with the wires from both Crossfire and Tramp nano run under the frame keeping it away from esc noise at the 30x30 mount
Was able to fit a capacitor in the rear mounting area of the frame being sandwich by the tramp nano vtx and crossfire reciever
Ratel 2 was a tight fit with the 20mm standoff, in hindsight should have gone with a nano camera
Brain3d gopro mount and frame accesories was a nice addition if you dont mind the extra weight
The Talon Fusion FC was easy to work with since it had so many uarts and all but 1 are powered on when usb is connected, dont worry about plugging in a lipo to bind your reciever
Interesting how the kabab 1880kv motor will do.. I've been hearing that they have a desync issues
Weight wise came in at 739grams with go pro 8 and 1300 6s
with 1000 6s weighs at 687
the tpu arm guards and antenna mount weighs at about 20 grams to take that into consideration
Flight performance will have to wait till snow clears.. I think 739 grams is a bit too heavy, i'll have to shave some weight somehow cause I have about a dozen 1300 6s lipos really dont want to buy 1000 6s
anyways cant wait to fly this thing oh yeah by the way build time took less than 3 hours im sure if you plan ahead you can shave off an hour
Another build is also in the making with the Radix 2 and tekko metal esc
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Update!!
on the 1st flight the kwad fell into a semi death roll.. manage to recover it then tried a roll again and well kwad fell into the ground
after looking at the blackbox log. it said that motor 2 was 100% throttle just b4 death roll this was false because iI didn't hear it go full throttle when it fell
I believe it was a motor issue with the fpv cycle motors, I've swap the fpv cycle motors with T-motor velox 1750kv and the kwad flies fine
I really wanted to fly the FPV cycle motor but it will have to wait until I get the new motor bells
