we all know how awesomely light and durable the R3dshifters ion frames are. Finally got around to building the 1s 3" ultralight version. First analog build in a long time!
instead of using a runcam nano 3 or caddx ant i went for a "full size" nano 14mm camera
ill decide after the maiden if ill keep it or drop 5 grams and go to one of those bare cameras

Update:
configured everything up today and everything is working (man, forgot how much more of a process analog is) except no video...then realized the Phoenix 2 nano minimum voltage is 5v haha.

Update 16th March 2021
so camera works fine off the 5v pad haha. but I changed the camera to the foxeer toothless nano 2 as it's similar in performance but a gram lighter
Maiden flights turned out very well. I used Kabab's pids for the babytooth 3" and had to turn up the D about 3-4 points. Also had to go direct solder on the motors...made a huge difference in flight time and power

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
