This is a reincarnation of the 5-inch Hexacopter with modern Frame design elements. The thrust/wheight ratio is even better than most freestyle quadcopters. That makes this little beast very agile. You have 50% more thrust, but only about 30% more wheight compared to a quad. Take-off wheight is 870g. I get about 5 minutes of freestyle flying from a 1300mAh 6S battery. The frame is very stiff and robust. It feels like a flying tank. The Frame is available at Armattan Productions: https://armattanproductions.com/pages/kit_detail/2897
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

Really cool build!
Interesting how the insect-like design elements are accentuated by the 6 arm design. Feels a little caterpillar, with all the ovoid holes patterned diagonally across the top plate. Somehow the overall shape has a beetle/cockroach shape. When I look at it like that, I imagine it's been squashed by something super heavy/flat so it's cartoonishly flat.
You have a ton of boards in this bird, I think you did a great job managing the wires and board mounting. Somehow I love something that's super complex, but organized really well. So much to look at :)
