I wanted to see if i could get some 2" props onto a 40mm frame. 1103 motors... three of the motors are 11000kv, one is 8000kv.
I tried the1940 and 2040. 2040s win out on flight time.
I have some breathing room with the 1940,s but the 2040s only have a couple of mm of clearance. They ding the beeper on hard throttle. V2 will need some component relocation. I used some zip ties to keep things out of the way this time, but need to think things through a bit more to loose some weight.
the i-flight replacement antenna for the rx is suuuuuuper long.
The leds sandwich in there nicely under the rx. Next time I'll make 'em taillights, or maybe use 4 LEDS in a diamond pattern. The leds in the vtx are mostly broken. They are not very crash resistant. I broke out the vtx from the sled it was connected to and it's held in place by a singe bolt.

the FC is v1.1 and has been disconinued. it was only 29 bucks ;)

It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
