Trying out a new 3D freestyle/cinematic build that I have nicknamed "Big Chin". Overall, feels very smooth and easy to control. The StanFPV 2604-1690kv motors give really smooth control and make 3D transitions very easy to pull off. Not sure it beats a more traditional style freestyle motor (I highly doubt it will) and I will report back once I get more flights in.

Frame
Hyperlow CG 5" is a fantastic frame. I know its an older frame but the design is fantastic. The mounting options for the camera could be improved but small complaint at that. Sturdy and light weight for how durable it is.

Motors
Decided to try something new with 2604-1690kv motors from StanFPV. They are smooth and the flight was very stable. Not sure I will keep them as they are bit too stable. Not going to be doing any real twitchy style flying with them, but good motors.

Props
Give these new 3D props a try, you will not be disappointed.

Underbody Antenna
I like this position for the antenna a lot. I have never had a problem with reception and its highly protected during a crash. The design I created for the underbody mount could be improved, and I'll upload to thingiverse once I improve it.

Update: I have improved the underbody antenna mount! Came out really nice and sharp. You can find it on thingiverse here: Drone Underbody 30mm Mount for TBS Immortal T Antenna

Notes
I'm using Tesa tape here, and I do not recommend it. I ran out of gaffers tape and heat shrink for this build. I have more on order and it will get replaced as soon as it arrives.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
