I tried to build something as cheap as possible that would be fun to fly. The frame is great; the QAV-R is well designed, and this clone has really decent carbon. The motors and ESCs can't be beat at the price. I love the form factor of the flight controller, and it has performed great with 4K/4K gyro/PID loops. I really want to put a 4S battery on it when I get the chance.

Edit: I put in the Swift 2 and swapped the VTX for a 25-600mw switchable with a linear antenna direct soldered to it. The new camera is amazing! The linear antenna works fantastic on 600mw, but I do get some breakup on 200mw. It's worth it for the durability. I'll replace the photos, but leave one for nostalgia.

With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
