This is my second 210 build and I decided to go with chimp frame because its very similar to the Realacc x210+ frame which was my first build as well as it has golden screws! I've paired it with the DYS SE2205 PRO 2300KV for that golden look.
Building it was a challenge as the Omnibus F4 v2 board didn't follow exactly in line with that the wiring diagram shows such as LED strip signal going to pwm6 instead of led. It was a tight build but I seemed to have gotten lucky in cutting my wires to the perfect lengths. I opted for the VTX antenna out the back zip tied as well as the Flysky X6B had to be modified to fit in the 3mm screws but once that was done the antenna loop beautifully out through the top frame, I'm very happy with how everything ended up because all the components fit correctly and IMO the frame is beautiful.
The motors are soft mounted with 3 layers of electrical tape as well as all the components have been coated with silicone conformal coating which will at least allow this quad to be water resistant. The FC is currently running at 5% CPU load with 8khz/8khz with dshot 600 enabled. I didn't have to remove any caps on the ESC and it supported shot out of the box.
As for the Omnibus F4 Pro v2, I believe next time I would recommend the Omnibus F4 non pro version as the layout on the racing version seems to be lighter and easier to wire, as well as the barometer wasn't as effective as I had hoped. Finally I wasn't able to get the protocol to be working with FlySky ibus and instead had to settle for PPM signal instead.
Final price below is inflated as I've added my FPV gear as well.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Hey! Cool build :) What do you mean by "soft mounting" the motors? Has that got something to do with vibrations?
Exactly. Instead of directly screwing the motors onto carbon frame, you place something softer such as thick gorilla tape or electrical tape so the motor sits ontop of the cushion before being mounted.
Its a newer trend i decided to follow and try out, for my skill level i cant tell the difference however pros such as johnny fpv have stated it makes a big difference. Myth busted.
awesome, thanks :)
