I decided to be a mad man and cram a full Runcam Split Hybrid 2 into a CMW Massive Droner 2.5". The goal was a super small form factor drone that can get acceptable footage. Being in the city theres a lot of smaller parks, sculpures and features that aren't conduvcive to flying a GoPro rig, and lets be honest Goggle DVR kinda sucks. All other non hybrid DVRs suck, as the HD footage is meh and the FPV camera is even worse. The Runcam is different as its a Phoenix 2 FPV cam (one of the best IMHO) and is separated from the 4k HD cam both in wiring and form factor.

The motors are a bit odd, I was getting desyncs on stock BLH32 settings, but a Ramp-up power of 12%, timing of 22 degrees, Demag Comp High and Variable PWM it fixed the issues. They have tons and tons of power and response though.

This thing is HEAVY for its size, but even with aggressive props I get 5-7min of flight time. 650mAh 3s might be a bit better for weight but I don't want to sacrifice flight time. The Gemfan Flash 2540 props are the best for it, the HQ 2.5x2.5x3s are smoother but the lack of grip shows in tighter situations.

ELRS makes it feel incredibly locked in and the EP RX with the SMD Antenna means no whisker to route and worry about it getting chopped. The rear 3D print CMW provides fits M4 screws, so I used a couple to hold a zip-tie to mount the VTX antenna.
