I saw this frame on Instagram and wanted to build one. Its designed to fit the JHEMCU 16x16 AIO only, which is pretty nice for how small and cheap it is.
I wanted to keep the weight down so I used a Caddx Ant Nano, Xing Unibell 1103 motors, ELRS EP1 RX and a TBS Nano VTX. GnarlyFPV recommends the Runcam Nano 4, but the Ant fit fine and I prefer the image quality fromt the Ant. The Emax antenna is about the smallest circular polarized antenna you can get, and the base fits perfectly into the 3D print on the frame. There was about 0 room in the frame for the capacitor, so I put it on the XT30 even though this is less efficent, but it is only 2S to be fair.
EDIT: That Emax antenna is dogshit. I used to get bad interference only 100ft away. I switched to a VAS Micro Switchblade, 1g lighter and the video is superb now. Also the Switchblade stem fits snugly into the same hole on the rear standoff so its constrained well.
Its pretty heavy for its size, the Gemfan 2023s are a bit loose but pretty fun. The HQ and Emax 4 blades have more grip and punch but seem to unsettle the quad easily as its basically a whoop.
The EP1 RX is perfect for this as the SMD antenna is tiny and means no whisker or wire to get cut.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
