With FPVCycle/ Bob Roogi releasing the "perfect 5" Motor" I wanted to build a Glide to see how his design philosophy flies. 20x20 electronics keep it light and ELRS at 500hz makes it locked in. The Lumenier Lux 20x20 VTX is a re-brand of the Rush Tank Mini, which is a spectacular VTX for the price. With the right ESC settings the motors are incredibly smooth and have enough power when needed.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

hey man, did you weigh the motor to confirm they are as light as advertised ? any clue what makes them so light ?
They are as light as advertised, however I do not know how they engineered it.
Thanks for your quick reply .
I am so intrigued !
And they are significantly bigger then 2207 and 2306 class
Its only about a 10% increase in total stator volume over a 2207. One millimeter increase in radius isn't much and i'm sure some clever engineering in the bell and the base can account for the weight increase in the stator.
