Finally made a FpvCycle Cinesplore
As you know parts from the good doctor can be hard to come by so I substituted T Motors instead of the factory suggested units. I also went with Sharkbyte on this unit as I can see more with it.
The only real issue was how to mount the sharkbyte whoop vtx on a 20X20 hole pattern. I ended up 3D printing an adapter in PETG, mounted the vtx and screwed in the board with M2 screws which I used plyers to sheer off the top of. Setting up sharkbyte can be a bit tricky but follow the directions word by word and you should be okay, the full canvas mode is great.
I ended up prtinting the wide mouth ducts from Thingiverse in PETG using a soldering iron to heat up the gromets that I ordered from Amazon. Ended up buying the ducts as well from FpvCycle but have yet to install them.
Most of the 3D printed parts like the camera mount etc are made from TPU 95 Duro. I used a Ender3 to pint mine with little fuss, just keep your TPU as dry as possible.
Carries a Hero 9 with the battery like a pro and the added weight helps with stabilization. The M3 standoffs 15mm are for the camera base and not completely nessary.
Many of the parts were purchased on sale so look around, some parts cannot be helped but many items are on sale by looking to various codes and or coupons.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
