Started this build with a Diatone Mamba F405 US Mini F35 stack, but the OSD chip on the flight controller was DOA, so swapped it out for a HAKRC F405 DM. The HAKRC FC has a good 9V regulator, which I'm using to power the Runcam Hybrid board. The 4 in 1 ESC is still from the Mamba stack.
Also began with a small Zeus VTX, but swapped it out for a Rush Tank Ultimate II.
Since the weight is similar to the Diatone Taycan C3 349, and I'm using the same motors that the Taycan uses, I used DutchRC Adventures video that goes over Tuning that quad as a basis for configuring Betaflight.

Initial hover test seems very stable.
After printing, I wasn't a fan of the official Cinerat prop guards, so designed some compact guards that I printed on my resin printer using a mix of regular Elegoo "ABS Like" resin and Siraya Tech Tenacious resin to give them some strength and flexibility.
Initially using a CNHL 850mAh 4S 70C battery. Will be testing with a ThunderPowerRC 1600mAh battery too, if I don't pick up something in-between soon, as I'm not sure if the 1600 is too beefy or not.
AUW with the 850mAh battery is 383g.
AUW with the 1600mAh pack is 459g.

I think I copied PIDS from DutchRC's Diatone Taycan 4S video here :
I also have no clue what I'm doing, but haven't noticed motors running hot.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
