This whoop started out as my "outdoor whoop" project, I want to fly it in forests and in tree canopies. But I was affraid of losing it up high in a tree due to a failsafe or just bad FPV video. So I've build this 75mm whoop with a TBS pro 32 5g8 nano vtx which goes up to 500mw and a XM receiver. And yes ExpressLRS would be better, and even lighter, but I used what I had laying around, I am thinking about buying it though...
I also decided to switch out my camera ( Caddx Ant) with the Runcam Split 3 lite, so I could record my filghts in HD. And still keep it reasonable light.
It weighs about 30gr, and I get 3min to 3.30min of flight time on a URUAV 1s 450mah.
AUW is about 43gr. If you don't care about the HD recording you could use another camera like the Caddx Ant ( which I really like btw) and save 5 to 6gr, maybe more depending on the camera you use.
Oh, and YES that's an ND filter on the Runcam Split 3 Nano Lite ( same camera as the Mobula 6 HD), it really helps with jello!
There's a video coming about which ND filters fit, and how to mount them. When it's out I will post a link here. Or you could just follow me on Youtube of course ;)

And if you'd like to see a "forest cruising" video ( still the analog version)
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Hi man, does the JHEMCU fc strong enough using 1s battery? last time i build it needs 2s battery to take off...
Do you have any idea to make it 1s fully works?
Hi there, sorry about the late reply. Because the board I am using isn't available anymore I searched for others with the necessary uarts to add a vtx and rx, the product page states it should work, but I haven't tried it yet. What battery and motors did you use on your build?
