ImpulseRC Apex Micro 3" HD

I have two Apex 5 inch frames and love how they fly and the quality.... i had some bits from quads i took apart for some reasons so i used some bits i already had, like the Caddx vista units and the Caddx nebula (will upgrade this when they become available again) i also had the Diatone Mamba stack so i used this too.... can’t see any reason at the moment to upgrade this. i also had a load of 4s 850mah battery’s so i wanted to utilise these too.

after taking it for its first fly, I’m impressed at how it flies on stock setting.... its nimble and smooth, i wasn’t expecting it to fly this smooth as my last 3 inch (iflight H3) was not smooth and suffered badly with prop wash...

I’ve tried a few different pitch props and find the Gemfan 3x2.8x3 smoothest for now. i also run a naked gopro on it too.

can you post PID/Filters? mine is not flying so smooth 😁. i cant eliminate bounceback on the roll axis. ive tried swapping out FC/ESC with same outcome so it must be in the tune. very frustrating.

I'm surprised this flies better than the H3, considering how heavy the frame is.
I get that it may fly smoother, but do you feel less power, or maybe more sag?
