This was my second bulid after ZMR250. It was done 2 years ago but sharing today, because ...hmm
It looks like BATMAN a bit:
As ZMR has bulky arms eating some motor power I decide to go to 7" with thin arms. I just get cheap F2 Mito frame from aliexpres so I give it a try with I think 12 x 6 mm arms. Theres INAV on it
as Kakute F7 AIO will not fit between the spacers and also VTX is quite bulky, frame needs some modification
So I add some holes, resize some of them and modify aluminium frame.
To cover the arms and protect ESC I used 2 layers of heatshring and some cable armor, also soldered 470uF caps directly to all ESCs.
Than all the electronic was sprayed with conformal coating spray
I like Phoenix Oscar camera, but dont like ugly blue, so repaint to black as well (and coated as well)
And I aslo replaced lens on camera from Micro Eagle.
For better VTX (2W) cooling i decide to remove original heatsink and also metal shield and add a new one "Batman stile" made from copper plate, add some thermo rubber and of course paint it to black
And final assembly and add gopro and ND filter holder
I did not get any picture from final assembled, but I take some pictures after maiden:
So lesson learned - original gopro session holder is useles.
After a time I ordered SLA 3D printer and started with updates:
3D printed holder for camera and Gopro via silicone tubes and holder for GPS
Gopro holder is designed for Reelsteady and inspired by NICECRASH
Those was printed using standard tough anycubic resin
After few flights I found out that GPS was useles and it still losing GPS fix and holds only 5-6 satelites.
also Magnetometer was totaly confused and Position hold causing toilet bowling only.
So time to redesing GPS holder (and add finder)
This was a bit better, but still not perfect, speccialy magnetomter was still confused.
And tough resin prints broke after even small crash.
So I ordered Flexible resin ad start experemintenig with that.

But than i rebuild it completely with new prints, with a GPS and magnetometer in a "tail" , put front motors from the bottom....
but this will be listed here as Gmork V2

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

What an incredible build. Inspiring. What are the "batman" wings about? Style is legit, what made you do it?
Thank you, wings are made from copper plate and they are for cooling this hungry 2W VTX wit the air, so not wing for improving performance :). The Drone idea was light and agile 6/7" freestile able to smooth long range
OOoOoooooooooooOOOOOOOOH. I totally missed that, that's a cool visual aspect to your heat sync.
