throwing something together for igow that is light and analog from my spare parts.
the only thing i worry about are the motors. they are 2.5g heavy where as the 0802 with similar power are sub 2g.
0703 are battery suckers too....so I'm trying out the GNB27 connectors. supposedly superior to the BT2.0 connector which I never got into.

If the GNB27 are really good, I might move my 1s 3" over from the clunky and heavy xt30!

Update 9 August 2021 - Maiden pack I was getting brown outs and failsafes. Whats odd is the core temp warning would come on when flying. If I landed it would start dropping. I thought maybe the FETs were overheating at 96khz pwm so I dropped it to 48khz (Bluejay BLHeli_S) and it was still coming up.
Later that evening I flew a few packs outside and it never showed up...wierd. I chose to go higher PWM to try to increase some efficiency as I'm getting around 2min with new 260mah LiHV GNB27 packs.
2 Min is actually pretty short, but given the weight and inefficient 0703 motors, it's ok for now. Definitely some 0802 will be the first to be swapped in.

Update 7 September 2021
the 0703 bells are doing the ole' bell separating act...typical rubbish. I found some old 0802 20,000kv beta test motors from a newbeedrone beta test kit.

Update August 2021
put quicksilver for fun on this guy. It flies really good actually!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
