This build is actually a few months old but didn't get a chance to post it until now. This thing is an absolute tank....if a tank was also nimble. Most days that I'm in the city I'm still flying my MicroApex but when I get a chance to get out of town I love flying this thing.

The Brother Hobby Avenger 2507 (1700kv) motors are the biggest motors I've used and I was surprised with the fact that they don't actually murder my lipos like I expected. With a 6S 1350mAh Lipo I can actually get 4-5 minutes of flying, 3-4 if I'm hammering the throttle.

The frame itself is brilliantly designed. I can't honestly say I've crash 'tested' it as much as some of my other builds but I did slam it into a lamppost at a decent speed and it shrugged it off with little incident.

Catalyst Machineworks have released a lighter version of this frame and I'm looking forward to trying that one out but I'm still really happy with how this one turned out.

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
