1204's, a caddx ant and a mini immortal T to shave some weight. The rush tiny tank holds the crossfire nano in a perfect spot under the hole in the top plate allowing the soldered pins to have room. I front mounted the power cable this time. 3 bolts per motor to shed a little weight.
the rx antenna holder is diy from zipties. I kept the vtx sled pointing forward to allow it to fit under the slanted top plate. I refrained from additional leds to keep things light and replaced the double barrel buzzer with a singe unit pointing out the bottom plate hole.

3s was causing fly aways. I reflashed the outdated firmware... didnt work... I updated the escs to the latest version and that was it. I flew a tiny bit in the backyard, but after i tore up the gazebo and some plants Im gonna have to wait to go to a bigger location.

Wow man, premium components packed in there supa tight!!
How is your video? I have seen quite a few builds with the crossfire nano squished up against the FC/vTx that have rough video issues. Usually lines/bands.

Even thought the rx is not pressed up against anything, i do get white lines. Maybe thats just an effect of using the sled and having the rx above the vtx?
I had this reversed (rx under vtx, on another build) i do not recall any issues with my video signal but the extra length needed for the bolts mad it a very heavy solution..
after i crash next, ill try moving the rx behind the camera and see if my lines are cleaned up

That may also cause a problem, crossfire nano rx's are notoriously noisy next to cameras. I would try it, I don't think it's bad with every camera... just don't give up if you have new, different lines with it close to the cam.
Happy flying, I really enjoy watching your builds/skills evolve :)

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
