This is my first painted build. Thanks to the tutorial by MATTY BLUNTZ FPV. This 4" Apex frame is tough as nails. 4mm thick arms, single shoulder bolt per arm, 2mm thick upper and lower main plates and 1.5mm thick top and camera plates make this quad a tank. I used my last Runcam split 3 nano, which is now discontinued. The Runcam Split 3 has an ok image for non YouTube kind of hd footage. Diatone Mamba Toka 2004 2900kv motors are plenty of power on 4s for this frame. The Mamba f405 mini, Hakrc32 40a and rush tank mini makes this quad a fun and strong little ripper. AUW is 330 grams with an 850mah 4s battery. Quad is a little heavy but handles like a 5" without all the attention from soft targets at the park.

PAINT
Appliance epoxy bonds well to the carbon after a little 150 grit sanding. Paint 2 coats and Clear 2 coats. The color is Slimer by Montana Black paint. Rustoleum 2x Clear.
