Yep, this time i've rebuild one of the craziest of my drones - Piranha Dragster (https://rotorbuilds.com/build/5274).
All components should be able to run 6s batteries, be more powerful and reliable! What I did not change:
ReadyEdi RE228 Frame is great and I like it.
There are no complaints about the EFAW motors. They are Lipo killers, but very strong and they have great thrust!
RunCam Eagle2 works fine so far.
So, main changes were fc (Matek H743-Slim), pdb (iFlight SucceX PDB 2-8S), escs (Tekko32 F3 Metal 65A) and vtx (TBS Unify Pro32 Nano). To prevent voltage spikes I added four 35v 220uf each and one 50v 470uf capacitors. Also I added gps module to figure out top speed of this dragster.
what is the top speed? :)
So far i didn't measure the top speed of this build, but previous modification was able to reach 193 km/h with 5s battery. Main problem is battery sags. Motors can't reach top rpm, they draw too many amps.
