Goal of this project was, to build a 3" HD fun flyer with balanced power to weight ratio.
Everything works fine exept the variable motor PWM of BLHeli 32... This sounds unhealthy, so I switched to fixed 48 kHz.
The quad is well (not perfect) tuned and it's really fun for freestyle flying and hitting small gaps.
Until now it's very robust and crashresistant - as you can see on the photos, this thing is in use ;)
For me the flight time is the Brownie point, with minimum 4:30 minutes and maximum >8 minutes on 4S 450 mAh.
3S is also possible and it's not that big difference, regarding power.
On the whole it's very suitable for everyday use!

There's not much special, but the mounting of the Vista. Here I removed the srews from the four edges, drilled through with a 2.1 mm drill and screwed alltogether with threaded rods from top to bottom. Perhaps the aluminum srews for the props (to reduce the rotating mass) and the motor mount are worth mentioning, but that's it...
