I saw this frame and was stoked to try it out. I put my very first quad (an Newbeedrone acrobee) back into service after sitting on the shelf for a while (it had been replaced by the Meteor65 Acro). But being a spoiled child of digital FPV I wanted something better. I saw a video where someone (99% sure it was Albert Kim) talk about the bt 2.0 connector and the 450mah betafpv 1s lipos, so I figured I'd make a mosquto that used those. I picked up a c02 camera (which had better quality) and the betafpv 1s board without the built in receiver (b/c I was using tracer at the time) and built it up. I found if I filed out the holes in the bottom of the frame, I didn't even have to solder like i did with the Newbeedrone motors! The 1102 Betafpv motors give you way more power as well.
It is a brilliant pocket quad and hilariously fun. 450mah 1s lipos give you a great flight time and surprising power. the c02 camera has way better quality than what I have on my meteor65 and definitely better than the nbd camera. I prefer it with triblades. I have plenty of bite since we're open prop with this frame. I'll be replacing tracer with a happymodel tiny expressLRS receiver on Monday
