I like the Apex frames so much i have two full 5", a 3" and now this 4"..... all fly very different. I started this build with the intension of using some motors i already had, the ones i took off my 3" as i found them too heavy and wanted it under 250g. I decided, after installing the Xing 1507 motors that i wanted somthing different and also wasnt happy with the motor wires being too short for what i wanted. So i opted for the T-Motor 2203.5 2850kv.... these are great and run smooth and powerfull. I have used the T-Motor F7 20x20 stack in this build as i have used it before and they seem good and easy to fit, just to note tho, the micro apex screws for the stack are too short to fit the T-Motor stack so you will need to buy some 20mm long ones.. I have fitted the Caddx Vista Polar set up on this basiclly because i couldnt get anything else but, im very happy with the Polar camera (not used it in the dark yet)... i tried a few different props but have settled on HQ 4x4.3x3... I also added a naked gopro 8 in a geprc case....

hi, thanks. I've moved the 2203.5's to an Apex micro 5 inch and they work really well on that, the 1507 motors on the 4" are bang on for freestyle, they are powerful enough and i'm getting around 5 minutes with a naked gopro 8.

Wow, that's decent - what size lipo are you using for that? I've been using 850mah for the 2004

i use 1300 lipos but also 850's and still get decent run times.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
