This quad was built for Kid Kopta Fpv. He wanted something different to go on his wall of drones. When he told me about these ducts i was a little skepticle. 5inch fresstyle drone with ducts? i dont think so. Amazingly ..... it flies VERY WELL! Not the best acro flyer but handles well. 5 inch source one v3 frame with StanFpv universal ducts. With the Gemfan 4052 props and a simple tune, quad flies very smooth and runtime is around 5.5mins on a 4s 1300 mah battery (just cruising of course). Quad handles a split s like a charm, very little to no propwash. It was a simple and fun build. i Think its worth a try if anyone interested in building a 5inch drone with prop guards. Safe ,efficient and justs looks like a Large Cinematic machine.

Cool concept, lets anyone with a 5" quad fly/film indoors. Not as optimized as a 3" or even a 2.5", as far as making smol gaps. What it lacks in the size department, it makes up for in the ease of use category. SO many ppl could do this, and it would let them fly indoors/around people. Good setup for chase cam on something like a skateboard, or a 1 wheel. Could film hula hoopers, or anything relatively low speed around soft targets, with the same cool orbits, and high speed lead-in style shots. The ducts, props, and longer screws can all go in a bag to be used for making footage that's intended for commercial use, like a kit.
